Additional Information and Notes

Mathematics 4510 is strongly recommended, particularly for those students who are seeking teaching certification in mathematics and students who are planning graduate study.

In addition, the student must choose an established minor or design a program of study approved by the Mathematics Department Curriculum Committee consisting of 18 hours of courses in other disciplines, including at least 8 hours at the 3000-4000 level. A minimum grade point average of 2.0 must be achieved in these courses. Completion of a second major will satisfy this requirement.
