Music Performance Minor

23 hours of music including:

• MUS 1070 - Theory I
• MUS 1080 - Theory II
• MUS 1110 - Introduction to Music
• MUS 3150 - History of Music I
• MUS 3160 - History of Music II
• 8 hours (4 semesters) of applied instruction at the 2000 level or above

Additional Information and Notes

Students must pass the departmental Music Theory Proficiency test or complete MUS 1020 before enrolling in MUS 1070.

Students must take an additional 2 hours of Music courses at the 3000-4000 level in order to complete the required minimum 8 hours of upper level course work in the minor.

Minimum 2.0 average in the minor.
