WSTU 3020 - Latin American Women Writers in Translation

Contributions of Latin American women writers to the social, economic, and political institutions of Latin American culture. Readings from literary selections in several genres. Topics will include gender roles, systems of authority, masculine/feminine representations of reality, and the concept of “feminine” writing. On demand. Prerequisite: ENGL 1010 or ENGL 1011 or ENGL 1020 or UHON 1010 or UHON 1020 or department head approval. No foreign language credit. May be registered as MLNG 3020. Credit not allowed in both MLNG 3020 and WSTU 3020.
