USTU 1010 - The Freshman Seminar (3) Credit Hours
An introduction to the nature of university education and a general orientation to the functions and resources of the University. Designed to help freshman adjust to the University, to develop a better understanding of the learning process, and to acquire basic academic survival skills, and to enrich their appreciation for the University’s commitment to development of the intellect. Elective available to all students with fewer than 30 hours. Recommended during initial semester for students who enter the University with fewer than 15 hours. Offered Fall and Spring semesters. Credit not allowed in both USTU 1250 and USTU 1010.
