GNSC 1150 - Science and Society (3) Credit Hours
Explores the interrelationship of science and society through discussion of scientific issues that are vitally important to our society and everyday life. Specific topics may vary in keeping with current issues, but are likely to include the technology revolution, the energy crisis and possible solutions, the importance of science to our economy and defense, the impact of politics and the economy on scientific research, and space science. On demand. Prerequisite: MATH 1006 or USTU 1050 or department head approval.
