Description of physical science from three viewpoints: its historical and sociological significance, the processes of science, and the present content of scientific fact and theory. Topics include physics, chemistry, geology, and astronomy. Prerequisite: MATH 1006 or USTU 1050 or department head approval. Corequisite: GNSC 1110L or department head approval.
