ESC 4040 - Bioremediation

A study of the potential use of biological systems in the remediation of areas contaminated with toxic pollutants. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisite: BIOL 3110 and CHEM 3010, or department head approval. Corequisite: ESC 4040L or department head approval. Corequisite: ESC 4040L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. May be registered as BIOL 4040. Credit not allowed in both ESC 4040 and BIOL 4040.
