BIOL 4570 - Mammalogy (4) Credit Hours
The biology of mammals, with an emphasis on diversity, distribution, systematics, structural evolution and paleontology, and functional morphology. Laboratory includes identification of regional diversity, as well as dissections and field trips. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1130 with minimum grades of C, at least one 3000-4000 level course from BIOL or ESC with a minimum grade of C, junior standing; or department head approval. Corequisite: BIOL 4570L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
