BIOL 4030 - Developmental Vertebrate Embryology

(4) Credit Hours

Current developmental processes and concepts drawn from selected invertebrate studies, but with major emphasis on experimentation in higher vertebrates. Laboratory explores vertebrate development through embryological slides, films and experimentation. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 4 hours. Prerequisite: BIOL 3250; BIOL 3130 recommended. Corequisite: BIOL 4030L or department head approval. Pre- or corequisite: CHEM 3020 and CHEM 3020L, or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
