BIOL 3510 - Mycology
(4) Credit Hours
An introduction to the Kingdom Fungi: Mushrooms, molds, and yeasts. Morphology, life histories, classification, genetics, physiology, development, ecology, medical and economic importance of fungi. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1130 with minimum grades of C, or departmenthead approval. Corequisite: BIOL 3510L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
