Evidences of evolution; mechanism of natural selection; role of genetic factors in the diversity of populations; origin of races, species and higher categories; adaptation and behavior; recognition of evolutionary relationships; significance of evolution to the human species. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1130 with minimum grades of C, or department head approval.
