BIOL 3130 - Comparative Vertebrate Zoology (4) Credit Hours
The biology of the phylum Chordata, in particular the vertebrates, with an emphasis on their systematics, structural evolution, and functional morphology. Laboratory dissection of the shark, salamander, and cat. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 4 hours. Prerequisites: BIOL 1120 and BIOL 1130 with minimum grades of C, or department head approval. Corequisite: BIOL 3130L or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
