The graduate certificate program in Business Analytics emphasizes and provides technical knowledge of basic business analytics concepts, database management, advanced queries and reports, SAS skills, and advanced data analytics. The certificate program covers basic and advanced statistical and quantitative analysis, exploratory and predictive models, and fact-based management to generate knowledge and drive decisions and actions. This program also prepares students toward SAS Base Programmer and SAS Advanced Programmer certification exams. One key feature of the program is real-life data project, which is completed through the Data Mining Analytics (MGT 5190) and Advanced Data Analytics (MGT 5200) courses.
Admission Requirements
This certificate program is available to degree-seeking (e.g. MBA) students as well as non-degree seeking individuals. Individuals will be admitted to the Certificate Program in Business Analytics if they meet the admission requirements of the Graduate School as stated in the Graduate Catalog, and have satisfied all prerequisites for the certificate course requirements.
