The M.S. Engineering Management degree is designed for individuals with backgrounds in a technical field who have moved or expect to move into managerial responsibilities. The program addresses important topics such as:

Program Requirements
Students are required to complete a minimum of 33 semester hours of prescribed courses for a major in engineering management. The student’s program is planned in consultation between the student and adviser. Each program will be designed to meet the needs of the student, taking into consideration background and experience. In some instances, prerequisite courses may be required. The program requires courses in the core and electives. Electives (12 or 15 hours)
15 hours with Capstone Project option
12 hours with Thesis option
Capstone Project (3 hours) or Thesis (6 hours)
Total (Core + Capstone/Thesis + Elective hours): 33 hours
Additional Information and Notes
Electives can be taken with adviser approval in areas outside of engineering management such as other engineering disciplines or business.
