NURS 7680R - Nurse Anesthesia Synthesis Seminar

(3) Credit Hours

This seminar course will provide a comprehensive review, synthesis, and integration of the body of knowledge necessary for transition into nurse anesthesia advanced practice. Preparation for the National Board of Certification and Recertification (NBCRNA) SEE exam and National Certification Exam (NCE) will be a primary focus.  A directed self-study review of Anesthesia Practice Exam (APEX) Anesthesia Modules will augment this preparation. A series of seminars and presentations interspersed with comprehensive, computerized examinations allowing students to evaluate their knowledge level and test-taking skills. Prerequisites: NURS 7730 , NURS 7850 , and NURS 7860  all with a minimum grade of B or Director approval. Admission to the DNP Nurse Anesthesia Concentration. Differential course fee will be assessed. Graded Satisfactory/No Credit.
