PMBA 5220 - Simulation Modeling for Business

Fundamentals and techniques for designing simulation models for analyzing business processes and developing sound operational decisions. Topics will include Monte Carlo and Discrete-event simulations. Application areas will include service, manufacturing, healthcare, project management and financial industries. The most current, cutting-edge software platforms will be used for designing the simulation models and analyzing the results. On demand. Prerequisites: One semester of business stats with a C or better or at least 80% in Statistics module or MGT 5835 or PMBA 5835, or department head approval. Only open to PMBA students. Credit not allowed in both PMBA 5220 and MGT 5220. Differential Course Fee will be assessed. Business Graduate Course Fee will be assessed.
