ENME 7510 - Advanced Turbulence Modeling

Introduction to the basis and formulation of current advanced turbulence models. Evolution of the concepts developed in ENME 5500 to model viscous laminar and turbulent flow effects, including the numerical implementation and validation of one-equation and two-equation turbulence models. Standard letter grade. Note: The code developed in ENME 5500 must include an implicit solution algorithm and higher-order spatial accuracy as a prerequisite for this course. (If the code developed in ENME 5500 does not have these features, they *must* be implemented before classes begin).Prerequisites: ENME 5050, ENME 5340, ENME 7340 and department head approval.Differential Course Fee will be assessed
