ENME 5130 - Introduction to Theory and Formulation of Finite Elements

(3) Credit Hours

Introduction to the mathematical theory, formulation, and computer implementation of the finite element method. Application to one- and two-dimensional problems in engineering mechanics. Some background in basic linear algebra and integral calculus is expected. Prerequisites: department head approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed Standard letter grade.
