MGT 5200 - Advanced Data Analytics (3) Credit Hours
This course covers advanced topics related to data analytics. It focuses on practical applications of advanced data mining and machine learning algorithms and operationalization of analytics in organizations. Topics include data manipulation, (un)structured data and standardization, data exploration, and (un)supervised learning using algorithms like neural nets, decision trees, cluster analysis, regression, etc. The focus of this course is hands-on learning of how to use predictive analytics to solve business problems. The course uses real-life data projects. Prerequisites: MGT 5190 or PMBA 5190 or department head approval. Restricted to MBA, MACC and MS Data Analytics or Business Analytics Post Baccalaureate Certificate. Credit not allowed in both PMBA 5200 and MGT 5200.Differential Course Fee will be assessed. Business Graduate Course Fee will be assessed.Standard letter grade.
