An advanced study of conducting and rehearsal techniques for choral directors. Special emphasis given to vocal pedagogy for ensembles, current research related to voice science and effective rehearsal strategies, working with instrumentalists as collaborative artists, and performance practice for a wide variety of repertoire from early music to contemporary. Prerequisites: Departmental audition. Effective Spring 2023.
