NURS 3350 - Nursing Systems IV: Care of the Childbearing Family

(5) Credit Hours

Concepts of nursing care of pregnant women, childbearing families and selected health deviations including the application of the Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory in the care of pregnant women and childbearing families with health needs.  Every semester. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 6 hours.  Prerequisites: NURS 3250  and NURS 3260  or department head approval. Corequisites: NURS 3310  and NURS 3360  or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed. Standard letter grade.
