NURS 3260 - Nursing Systems III: Care of the Patient with Mental Health Needs

(4) Credit Hours

Concepts of nursing care of clients with selected psychiatric mental health disorders including the application of concepts of Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory in the care of clients with selected psychiatric mental health disorders.  Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours.  Prerequisites: NURS 2110 , NURS 2120 , NURS 2150 , and NURS 3270  , or department head approval. Corequisites: NURS 3250  or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed. Standard letter grade.
