NURS 2150 - Nursing Systems I: Foundations of Nursing Practice

(7) Credit Hours

An introduction to foundational concepts of nursing and health associated self-care deficits, including the application of concepts of Self-Care Deficit Nursing Theory in the care of adults with self-care deficits.  Every semester. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 12 hours.  Prerequisites: NURS 2260  and admission to major, or department head approval. Corequisites: NURS 2110 , NURS 2120 , and NURS 3270 , or department head approval. Differential course fee will be assessed. Standard letter grade.
