CHEM 1110 - General Chemistry I (3) Credit Hours
Examines atomic structure, elements and the periodic table, molecules and compounds, chemical bonding, chemical reactions, solutions, gas properties, and physical properties of states of matter. Ability to perform algebraic calculations is necessary for success. Every semester. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisites: MATH 1130 or MATH 1710 with a minimum grade of C or MATH ACT of 21 or above or department head approval. Corequisites:
Pre or Corequisites: (MATH 1720 or MATH 1730 ) or (MATH 1830 or MATH 1950 or MATH 1960 ) and CHEM 1110L with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Standard Letter Grade.
