PSY 5500 - Strategic I-O Psychology and Human Resource Management (3) Credit Hours
Introduces skill-and mind-set needed to perform as strategic and “HR-minded” business professionals. Provides a technical overview of common HR functions and related practices, theories, and methodologies, with primary focus on how these functions and practices relate to organizational strategy and organizational or firm performance over time. Prerequisites: Admission to the Industrial-Organizational Psychology master’s program or approval of the graduate program coordinator.
