EVST emphasizes the role that the humanities (like art, English, and philosophy), social sciences (like anthropology, business, and sociology), and health sciences (like health and human performance and nutrition) play alongside the natural sciences in understanding, translating, and addressing the complex environmental issues facing our contemporary world.
