Exceptional Learning: Mild Disabilities Grades K-8, M.Ed.

A minimum of 30 semester credit hours is required for the degree.

Students must file for candidacy according to the guidelines set forth in the Graduate Catalog in the “Admission to Candidacy” section, under “Academic Policies for Graduate Students  .”

Program of Study


Masters of Education in Exceptional Learning: Mild Disabilities Grades K-8 is a dynamic 30-credit hour program leading to M.Ed. Teacher candidates seeking licensure with M.Ed. completion, (Endorsement Code 144; Special Education Interventionist K-8) have two options for obtaining licensure with degree completion (graduate student teaching, or  job-embedded options). Teacher candidates seeking licensure will complete an additional 6-9 hours of either EDUC 5960 - Induction Experience, or EDUC 5970 - Job-embedded Induction.

Total: 30 hours
