Nursing: RN to B.S.N.

Additional Information and Notes


  1. NURS 2260  and/or NURS 2520  do not have to be completed prior to beginning 3000-4000 level nursing courses.
  2. Proof of current registered nurse licensure serves as validation of content in Foundations of Nursing Practice (NURS 2550 NURS 2555 ), Adult Nursing (NURS 3550 NURS 3555 NURS 4150 NURS 4155 ), Maternal/Child Nursing (NURS 3150 NURS 3155 NURS 3160 NURS 3165 ), Psychiatric Nursing ). The hours(NURS 3560 NURS 3565 ) of academic credit for these courses will be entered on the student’s academic record the semester of graduation with each course receiving a grade of “S.” Students must have earned a minimum grade of C on each previously taken Nursing course to receive credit. Transferred Nursing courses with grades below C must be repeated.
  3. NURS 3170  is not required of RNs.

2.5 GPA in all required major and related courses (including specified General Education courses).

Minimum grade of C or S in all nursing and required courses (exclusive of electives).

Minimum of 39 hours at the 3000 and 4000 level.

Electives to complete 120 hours.
