Public Health: Chronic Disease Prevention and Control, M.P.H.

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) Master of Public Health program, with a concentration in Chronic Disease Prevention and Control (MPH CD), is an accredited program offered through the College of Health, Education, and Professional Studies in the department of Health and Human Performance.  This unique program is dedicated to educating and training future public health professionals to be leaders and innovators committed to combating chronic diseases through an environment rich in learning, community engagement, and service. The program is accredited by the Council of Education for Public Health (CEPH).

The MPH CD program is not a distance education program and cannot be completed fully online. Coursework can occur during day or night time.

 

Admission requirements

Students seeking admission to the MPH CD program must meet the general admission requirements associated with the UTC Graduate School as described in the Graduate Catalog.  A complete application consists of graduate application, official transcripts, personal statements, Curriculum Vitae, and three letters of recommendation.  The program may request additional requirements during the application review process.
