(3) Credit Hours

This course examines the cultural, intellectual, social, political, and economic developments that “made” modern Europe in an era of increasing global connection. Special attention will be paid to the political, ethnic, and religious diversity of Europe. Topics will include artistic, scientific, and religious movements; imperialism; Absolutism; and the Enlightenment. Every 3-4 semesters.
