GEOL 1025 - Geology of the National Parks (LC or NL)


(3) Credit Hours

This course provides an overview of the diverse geology preserved in national parks. Students of all disciplines learn to view national parks through a geological perspective, and to explore the roles of national parks in historical events from both geological and humanistic perspectives. This course can be taken to fulfill the General Education Natural Science non-lab category, or with GEOL 1110L to fulfill the General Education Natural Science with a lab category. Also, the lab can be taken during a later semester if needed.
