HIST 2410 - Colonial and Revolutionary America (CZ or HF)


(3) Credit Hours

This course examines the colonial and revolutionary periods of American history from the age of European exploration and colonialization to the creation of an independent United States. Special emphasis will be given to the various peoples that inhabited North America and interactions among them, the establishment and development of social, cultural, political, economic, and labor institutions, the maturation and growth of the English colonies within the broader British empire, and the causes and consequences of the American Revolution. Once every four semesters.
