Examination of the major concepts and topics pertaining to conservation biology. These include the importance of and threats to biodiversity, conservation at different scales, overexploitation of species, exotic species, ecotourism and economics, and ethics. Fall semester. Prerequisites: BIOL 3060 with a grade of C or better or Department Head approval.
