ENGL 2830 - Writing for the Social Sciences

An introduction to the theory and practice of the discourse used in social sciences. Emphasis on the processes of thinking involved in researching, reading, and communicating in these fields. Extended research and original essays with opportunities for the student to focus on his or her academic field. Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisites: ENGL 1020 with a minimum grade of C or Department Head approval.
