Preparation of documents that convey technical information to diverse audiences. Emphasis on audience analysis, information gathering, coordination of visual and verbal representations of data, and careful editing for precise language. Guidance in the electronic production of texts such as descriptions, abstracts, instructions, reports, presentations, proposals, graphics, brochures, resumes, and web pages. Fall and Spring semesters. Prerequisites: ENGL 1020 with a minimum grade of C or Department Head approval.
