EDUC 2010 - Education in the United States

This course is the introduction and gateway course to the Teacher Education Program (TEP) with multiple out of class requirements. The components of the course will address contemporary issues and historical development of education in the United States. The following topics will be included (but not limited to) instructional technology and technology integration, teacher evaluations, state summative assessments, dispositions, edTPA, lesson planning and meeting the needs of all students through RTI2. Field component required. Every semester.
