Semiotics as a foundation for the concepts and methodologies central to the practice of design. Emphasis on shaping meaning, image making, and connecting form to concept. Fall semester. Studio hours 6. Prerequisites: ART 1010, ART 1060 or Department Head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
