NURS 7460 - Primary Care of the Adult and Aging Practicum (3) Credit Hours
This course promotes the student’s transition to the role of advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). Students will be expected to apply the concepts of assessment, diagnosis, and therapeutic management of disease processes to a variety of adult patients. Emphasis is placed on common acute and chronic conditions. 225 clinical clock hours. Prerequisites: NURS 7100 , NURS 7110 , NURS 7120 , and NURS 7220 or Director approval. Corequisites: NURS 7450 or Director approval. Only open to Nurse Practitioner DNP students or Director approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
