NURS 7120 - DNP Physical Assessment and Diagnosis

(4) Credit Hours

This course promotes advanced history taking, physical examination, and diagnosis. Emphasis is placed on the process of diagnostic reasoning to synthesize comprehensive assessments of patients through the lifespan. Course content will promote learning in the following areas: communication, history taking, physical assessment, age, and gender health screening and diagnostic testing. An undergraduate nursing health assessment course is required. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 1 hour. Admission to the BSN-DNP programs or Director approval. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
