This course builds the fundamental skills necessary for interpreting from English into Spanish and Spanish into English, while exploring various types of interpretation, the history of interpreting, and special considerations and debates within the field. On demand. Prerequisites: SPAN 3110 or SPAN 3120 or SPAN 3210 or SPAN 3220 or SPAN 4050 or SPAN 4060 and an additional 3000 - or 4000 level Spanish class with a grade of C or better or department head approval.
