An examination of the ways in which humans acquire, use, and comprehend language; emphasis on the role of biological and social development, cognitive processes, and the impact of culture on linguistic skills.Every semester.Lecture 3 hours.Prerequisites: PSY 1010, PSY 2010 or equivalent, PSY 2020, and PSY 2040 or department head approval.
