EDUC 4050 - CTE Advanced Literacy and Instructional Strategies

This course will emphasize literacy strategies, RTI2 and mastery of literacy standards. The course would give candidates a wider spectrum of CTE instructional strategies, advanced array of assessment strategies for the CTE classroom, presentation of key components of their final digital portfolio, networking with cohort members related to integrating literacy and writing skills into the CTE classroom, and extended possibilities for networking with regional career certification technical colleges, with invited key clinical consortium speakers for key CTE topics and invited speakers/recruiters from technical college training programs. Open to CTE students completing the Occupational licensure program only.
