PSY 4150 - Health Psychology (3) Credit Hours
This course provides a framework for understanding human health from biopsychosocial perspective, acknowledging the interplay between biological, social, and psychological factors affecting the onset and prognosis of various health-related conditions. Primary, secondary, and tertiary intervention strategies for preventing/coping with a wide range of physical and psychological health concerns are emphasized. Prerequisites: 6 hours within psychology department or department head approval.
