An immersive experience occurring regionally, nationally, or internationally that develops intercultural competencies and an understanding of the student’s own culture in a global/national/regional context. Good standing in the Honors College and application process required. A maximum of three credit hours may be earned through a single study abroad/study away experience. A maximum of six credit hours may be earned in UHON 3980r, with no more than three hours earned per semester. Every semester. Prerequisites: Proposal approved by the Honors College. Open only to Honors College students.Graded on a satisfactory/no credit basis.
