MOSA 1001R - Independence, Study, and Social Strategies I (1) Credit Hours
Designed to introduce students to the realities of the transition to college, this course examines various facets of higher education while specifically highlighting the academic nuances of college. The course covers transition skills, organization and study skills, and skills for navigating social interactions within the academic environment of a college campus. Students in the course will explore strategies for academic success in and out of the classroom and will consider these factors within the context of the impact of Autism Spectrum Disorders. Prerequisites: Program director approval.
