ETME 4220 - Robotics & Motion Control

(3) Credit Hours

Application of industrial robotics and motion control in industrial automated systems. Utilization of teach pendants to program robots for specific actions. Topics include path planning, obstacle avoidance, encoder calibration, payloads & inertia, and end effectors. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisites: ETME 3110  or department head approval. Pre or Corequisites: ETME 3230  or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Differential course fee will be assessed.
