MGT 4250 - Database Management (3) Credit Hours
This course introduces students to database concepts with emphasis on relational databases. Focus is on database design and query writing with structured query language (SQL) to manage and extract information from databases. Students will develop the business and technical skills necessary to successfully analyze, retrieve, and manipulate data to make better decisions and improve business processes. Students use a database management system to organize, manage, and extract information from databases, as well as develop database project management skills.Fall semester. Prerequisites: MGT 3600 or department head approval. Junior standing. Differential Course Fee will be assessed.
