STEM 4020r - Apprentice Teaching

(6-12) Credit Hours

Closely supervised fieldwork in cooperating school. Experience includes carrying out the duties of a secondary teacher. Twenty to 40 hours of fieldwork per week. Students will enroll in 6 or 12 credit increments according to the details of their field component. Field component. Fall and spring semesters. Prerequisites: STEM 4010 with a minimum grade of C. Successful completion of Checkpoint 3 and all but at most two content courses successfully completed and a passing score on preliminary portfolio or department head approval. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed. Satisfactory/No Credit grading.
