Investigation of the theoretical and historical foundations of the religion clauses of the First Amendment of the US Constitution, with attention also given to jurisprudential developments of the Establishment and Free Exercise Clauses by the Supreme Court over time. Prerequisites: PSPS 3000 or department head approval.
