MILS 4040 - Leadership and Management

Discusses Army staff organization, functions, and processes. Analyzes counseling responsibilities and methods. Examines principles of subordinate motivation and organizational change. Applies leadership and problem-solving principles to complex case studies and simulation. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 1 hour. Prerequisites: MILS 3040 with a minimum grade of C or department head approval. Corequisites: MILS 4040L or department head approval.
